It was a busy year launching a first book of poetry, and my heart is full from the connections made with other writers along the way.
I am also honoured to share the news that A Road Map for Finding Wild Horses was nominated for a High Plains International Books Award, in the Woman Writer category! Established in 2007, the High Plains International Book Awards celebrate literary works which examine and reflect life in the High Plains region, which includes the states of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas, and the Canadian Provinces of Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
2025 winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Saturday, October 4th.
