Details of your Personal Portrait Session:
I describe these sessions as journalistic portraiture, as we are creating photographs that tell a story. There is no time limit imposed; I prefer to spend as long as needed to ensure that participants are comfortable. I schedule the day around your session.
Location is always your choice, and foremost should be where you can feel relaxed. Ideally there are options for both shade and open areas, however, some of my favourite photographs have been created within the confines of a dark barn or a small grove of trees. I only use natural lighting, so time of day is another important consideration, especially as light changes with the season. Portrait sessions are weather dependent, and I am always flexible when it comes to rescheduling due to severe rain or cold.
All sessions include a personal online gallery of thoughtfully edited photographs for download. General colour correction and density adjustment is included on every image that will be given to you. On a select few favourites, more extensive retouching and skin correction is also included. Aside from that, I use minimal editing. My style has evolved over many years, and I take pride in creating photographs that integrate the landscape as part of the subject. I include both colour and black and white photos in your album, and aim to provide a variety of both close up and panoramic views.
Additional prints, canvas art, and keepsake albums can be purchased in addition to your online photo collection. I individually edit your chosen images, and use a high-quality print lab so that your photographs always look immaculate.
The Poem: Individual Portrait Session
These sessions include you and your significant other; horse, dog, cat, or human. Your package includes a minimum of 80 thoughtfully edited digital images, delivered in an online album with the photos as high-resolution digital files to download and enjoy.

The Whole Story: Group Portrait Session
These sessions are designed for herds or multiple animals, as well as small events or families. This package includes a minimum of thoughtfully edited 120 digital images, delivered in an online album with the photos as high-resolution digital files to download and enjoy.

Sunset Portrait Session
These are sessions for humans who are in the process of having to say goodbye to their beloved animal partner, and are wanting to create memories of these moments together. Since it can often be a last-minute decision to schedule a photo session at this time, I offer special consideration that is designed around your needs. Please message me for pricing, as it will always be within your budget.
Add a print or photo album package to your session: $150
As a printmaker, I always love having physical keepsakes of memories made. Choose an album or a photo box for your favourite images, using up to 40 photos from your session.
