The wild horses of Alberta live amidst the remote eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains. I believe bringing awareness to their beauty is a step towards keeping them protected, wild, and free.

This mare was relaxing in the fading light of a summer evening, sharing space nestled between her yearling and newest foal. I hoped to convey the peace of this very special moment.
