"Savour the moments in life that make your heart glow."
I once tried explaining to a friend how, in taking a photograph, you hope to somehow give the viewer a sense of the feeling you had in that instance, whether it was the catch in your throat that welled up, the way the light was falling just so, or the smile that appeared without your knowing. It's about revealing something, not just as it looks, but how it feels; a magical kind of art preserving time and moments.
I love nothing more than capturing the quiet, candid moments, the beauty that comes with a natural and relaxed session. Seeing the bond that exists between two loving beings is something truly special, and it lights me up every time I am able to capture it. Photography has a special way of keeping alive the memories we hope will never fade.
My focus is on capturing images that evoke peace and natural beauty, and I find the best moments emerge when everyone is relaxed; during a stroll through the trees, or after a good laugh. I don't mind taking extra time to capture just the right shot, which often comes when you least expect. In fact, if you are a bit shy in front of the camera, I know exactly how you feel!

I am based out of Edmonton, but always jump at the chance for a road trip to discover new locations (and take some landscape shots I haven't seen before!) so drop me a line even if you are off the beaten path.
